Gardner-Webb football placed two of its standouts on the Big South/OVC All-Conference team, released this week.

Camden Overton, a junior tight end, made the first-team lineup. Trevor Moffitt, a redshirt junior linebacker, earned second-team.

Overton, from Atlanta, led Gardner-Webb with 42 catches for 453 yards and one touchdown. He caught seven passes for 75 yards against Tennessee State earlier this month.

Moffitt, from Bushnell, Fla., had the most tackles of anyone on the Bulldogs’ roster. He finished with 64 total stops, as well as 10.5 tackles-for-loss and 5.0 sacks. His best stat-stuffer game came against James Madison – 12 tackles, 2.5 TFLs and one sack.

Moffitt picked off a pass early in the season against Charlotte, returning it 45 yards for a touchdown. He also forced one fumble and pounced on two more during the season.
