NC Football News was created with one simple idea: make North Carolina football easier to follow.
Whether you’re looking for the latest high school scores, Appalachian State’s schedule, updated transfer portal news, recruiting updates, game recaps or are just trying to remember who won last year’s state 8A championship, our goal is to build the pages that fans return to again and again.
There are plenty of places to find opinions and hot takes.
That’s not our main mission.
Instead, NC Football News focuses on creating reliable football resources that stay useful throughout the season and from year to year. Schedules, scoreboards, team pages, recruiting trackers, playoff headquarters, game-day guides and historical information are the foundation of what we do.
We follow all 33 college football programs that call the Old North State home. We try to find every high school score on Friday nights, from Murphy to Manteo and all points in between.
Rather than chasing headlines that disappear in a day, we emphasize structure, continuity and reliability. Many of our most-used pages are updated year after year and serve as long-term reference points throughout the football season and beyond.
