North Carolina’s lone NAIA football program will play an 11-game schedule this season.

The St. Andrews Knights will open the 2024 campaign on the road against Division II Erskine on Saturday, Aug. 31. The Knights will then serve as the first-ever football opponent for Anderson University (S.C.) the following Saturday, Sept. 7.

After a third road trip to Cumberland, St. Andrews will come home to play nationally ranked Bethel. Other home opponents this season include conference foes Union and Point on back-to-back weekends in October, and Bluefield in November.

The rest of the road schedule includes games at Lindsey Wilson, Reinhardt, Kentucky Christian and Pikeville.

St. Andrews is looking to improve upon last season’s 0-11 finish. Robert Curtain returns as head coach.

The Knights compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The league includes schools from Georgia, Kentucky and Virginia. Reinhardt won the league a year ago (6-0, 8-3 overall) and finished 18th in the final NAIA coaches poll of the regular season.
