Bill Khayat took over the Brevard football program in 2017. At the time, the Tornados only had 17 players on the roster and one winning season in the history of the school. Khayat has done a solid job of revitalizing Brevard College football, and now the Tornados are among the yearly contenders in the USA South Athletic Conference.
Where does Brevard football play home games?
Ives-Lemel Family Field is home to Brevard College Football, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s lacrosse. The Tornados’ home stadium has a 1,000-seat grandstand.
What division is Brevard College in football?
Brevard revived its football program in 2006 after being dormant since the 1950s. The Tornados started as an NCAA Division II program but reclassified to NCAA Division III (non-scholarship) in 2017. Brevard competes in the USA South Athletic Conference.
