Methodist earned a victory on senior day, but Brevard and North Carolina Wesleyan saw impressive conference win streaks come to an end in Division III action involving North Carolina schools on Saturday afternoon. Guilford also lost on its senior day. Greensboro was idle.

* Brandon Bullins threw two touchdown passes, while Keyshaun Pete rushed for two more to help Methodist race past LaGrange. The Monarchs earned their second win of the season.
LaGrange come into the contest with an 0-8 record but led 17-14 in the second quarter after a Landon Eaker kick. But Methodist tacked on 10 points before halftime and never trailed again.
* Maryville’s Bryson Rollins threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns, helping the Fighting Scots end the Battling Bishops’ four-game win streak. Maryville improved to 7-2 overall, while NC Wesleyan dropped to 4-5, 4-2 in the USA South.
The Bishops managed just 17 yards on the ground and 225 for the game. NC Wesleyan quarterbacks were intercepted five times and sacked five times.
Myles Martin rushed for a NCWU touchdown. Desmond Lee caught a touchdown pass from Zachary Marquis.
