Future East Carolina Football Opponents

The Pirates recently added Alabama to its 2026 schedule. The contest will be played at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa on Sept. 5, 2026. ECU will receive $1.5 million for the game, per reports. Meanwhile, Wake Forest bought out a game against ECU originally planned for Greenville in 2027.

2027: Western Carolina (Sept. 4), at Northwestern (Sept. 18) Georgia State (Sept. 25)

2028: NC State (Sept. 2), Coastal Carolina (Sept. 9), Charleston Southern (Sept. 16), at Wake Forest (Sept. 23)

2029: at Clemson (Sept. 1), Old Dominion (Sept. 15), Liberty (Sept. 22)

2030: Norfolk State (Aug. 31), at South Carolina (Sept. 7), at Old Dominion (Sept. 14)

2031: Old Dominion (Sept. 6)

The American Conference has already released league pairings for the 2026 season, with each team playing four conference home games and four conference away games. East Carolina is set to host Florida Atlantic, Rice, South Florida and Temple, and will travel to UAB, Army, Charlotte and Memphis. The full American Conference schedule will be released in February 2026, per the league.
