Elizabeth City State will celebrate Homecoming 2025 and Senior Day on the same afternoon. The Vikings will play Bluefield State in its homecoming contest on Saturday, Nov. 8. This will be the home finale for ECSU.

Who is the head coach of the Elizabeth City State football team?
Elizabeth City State will be under new management in 2025. ECSU has hired Adrian Jones to be the Vikings’ new head coach. Jones served as head coach at Shaw from 2016-24, compiling a 35-45 overall record.

“We’re not building,” Jones said during his introductory press conference in early January. “Listen to what I say. We’re not building. We want to win this year. It isn’t a two or three-year plan for me. I want to bring the student athletes that are going to come in here and buy into my program, and we’re going to win football games.”

What is the name of Elizabeth City State football stadium?
Elizabeth City State football plays its home games at Roebuck Stadium on campus. Roebuck Stadium seats 5,000 spectators and features a natural grass field. The stadium was built in 1983.
