Saturday’s Down East Viking Classic in Rocky Mount renewed a fierce CIAA rivalry between Fayetteville State and host Elizabeth City State. While the visiting Broncos rolled to a 51-8 win, the contest featured numerous memorable moments and a great small schools’ North Carolina college football atmosphere.
