Geren Williams, a 2026 defensive lineman from one of Maryland’s top prep programs, Archbishop Spalding, has committed to Elon.

Williams pledged to the Phoenix on May 16. He held known offers from multiple CAA schools, including Rhode Island and Monmouth.

His highlight reel shows him playing both defensive tackle and defensive end. He has relentless pursuit, even when double-teamed.

Elon, under coach Tony Trisciani, has garnered a strong reputation for developing linemen on both sides of the ball. D-lineman Chuck Nnaeto transferred from Elon to Boston College this off-season, while Brandon Smiley signed with Wake Forest from Elon out of the portal.

Archbishop Spalding won the MIAA “A” Conference championship in 2024, its third title in a row. The Cavaliers finished 12-0.
