Countdown to Kickoff show will feature nine HBCU coaches from NC

Event coming July 15 to downtown Raleigh

HBCU football schools from North Carolina: Shaw, St. Augustine's, Winston-Salem State, Fayetteville State, Elizabeth City State, NC Central, Johnson C. Smith, NC A&T and Livingstone.
North Carolina features nine HBCU schools with football programs: Shaw, St. Augustine's, Winston-Salem State, Fayetteville State, Elizabeth City State, NC Central, Johnson C. Smith, NC A&T and Livingstone.

The head coaches from all nine of North Carolina’s HBCU programs will be in one place talking football on Saturday, July 15.

The group will be featured at the sixth BOXTOROW Countdown to Kickoff preview show at the Box Car + Arcade in downtown Raleigh at 330 W. Davie Street. The show, hosted by BOXTOROW’s Donal Ware, will start at 5 p.m. Countdown to Kickoff is presented by Harlem Beer NC.

The list of head coaches scheduled to appear includes:

* Adrian Jones – Shaw
* Trei Oliver – North Carolina Central
* Richard Hayes – Fayetteville State
* Vincent Brown – North Carolina A&T
* Howard Feggins – Saint Augustine’s
* Sean Gilbert – Livingstone
* Maurice Flowers – Johnson C. Smith
* Marcus Hillard – Elizabeth City State
* Robert Massey – Winston-Salem State

The event is open to the public. Fans who attend are encouraged to wear their favorite school’s gear. Those in attendance will have a chance to win prizes and receive giveaways.
