First-round games start tonight at the higher seed

The Class 1A state high school footballs start Friday, Nov. 3

The chase is on for North Carolina high school state football championships, and the Class 1A playoffs kicked off tonight across the Old North State. Here are final scores from all of the Class 1A action. Second-round games will continue next Friday, Nov. 10 at the higher seed.
