BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State and Oregon State have announced a two-game football series, marking the first-ever meetings between the Mountaineers and the Beavers from the Pac-12.

The series will kick off with a game at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone on Oct. 4, 2025, with the return matchup scheduled for Sept. 25, 2032, in Corvallis, Oregon.

In addition to the Oregon State series, App State has made other updates to its future non-conference schedules, the school announced Wednesday.

The Mountaineers’ 2025 home game against Toledo has been moved to September 28, 2030, to accommodate the newly added Oregon State matchup. App State will now host FCS opponent Lindenwood on September 6, 2025, replacing a previously scheduled contest against Eastern Kentucky. Lindenwood, based in St. Charles, Missouri, will make the trip to Boone for the first time.

App State’s 2025 season will open with a high-profile in-state matchup against Charlotte at Bank of America Stadium, home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. The Mountaineers will also travel to Boise State on September 27, 2025, rounding out their non-conference slate for next season.

Looking ahead, the Mountaineers’ 2026 non-conference schedule includes a visit to NC State. App State also will host South Carolina State and Charlotte in 2026, while making a trip to East Carolina.

Boise State will visit Boone in 2027, in one of the more intriguing Group of Five non-conference match-ups. App State also will face Charlotte each season through 2030, continuing their regional battles.

Wake Forest announced its own two-game series with Oregon State last month, with the Demon Deacons set to travel to Corvallis in 2025 and host the Beavers at a future date, possibly in 2029.
