A standout offensive lineman from Raleigh’s Enloe High School will join Delaware’s football program in 2025. Senior Chandler Telfaire announced his pledge to the Blue Hens on social media this week.

Telfaire (6-4, 255) has twice earned all-conference status for the Eagles, who compete in the 4A Cap-6. He has started the past three seasons and was named Enloe’s player of the year in 2023.

Delaware hosted Telfaire for an official visit in late September. “I enjoyed it and they treated me so well,” he posted on his X account. “I really enjoyed the atmosophere, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity.”

Delaware will transition from FCS to FBS next season. The Blue Hens will play in Conference USA with schools like Liberty and Western Kentucky.

Enloe has a 4-3 record this season, 1-2 in league play. The Eagles have averaged 261.1 yards per game in rushing, 6.4 yards per carry, behind the play of Telfaire and his fellow linemen. Enloe rushed for 487 yards, with five rushing touchdowns, on Sept. 20 against Knightdale, a 38-8 victory.

Telfaire had eight total college offers listed on his 247Sports profile page, including from Gardner-Webb, North Carolina Central and UNC Pembroke in-state. Other schools to offer include Central Michigan, Howard, Morgan State and West Georgia.
