UNC Pembroke delivered one of the biggest wins in program history Saturday, blanking No. 20 Valdosta State 31-0 on the road. The Braves (4-1) not only toppled last year’s Division II national runner-up, but snapped the Blazers’ remarkable 395-game scoring streak that dated back to 1991, according to D2Football.com.

It also marked UNCP’s second victory over a ranked opponent this season, adding to a résumé that already includes a win against then-No. 16 Delta State.
