(Source: WSSURams.com) – The Winston-Salem State University football team has announced it will have a modified scrimmage, gearing up to the season opener against North Carolina Central, at Civitan Park on Saturday, Aug. 19.  

The day will be full of activities as it is also RamFam Family Day. All events start at 11 a.m. The Ram Family Day Cookout featuring Roxie of 102 JAMZ, DJ Von Dutch, and will have food, lots of fun, crowd-participation activities and giveaways.  

There is also a chance to meet the new SGA leadership, Mr. and Miss WSSU, and the Royal Court.  

Following these activities will be Meet the Rams beginning at 1:15 p.m. Fans will meet and get posters from the Powerhouse of Red and White, volleyball, women’s cross country, men’s cross country and football.  

After Meet the Rams, the football team will have a modified scrimmage beginning at 4 p.m. at Civitan Park. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs for the afternoon of fun.
