James Perrone, QB, Miami, FL (St. Thomas Aquinas)
East Carolina landed a cornerstone piece with its first commitment of the 2027 class, receiving a verbal commitment from one of the top prep quarterbacks in South Florida. Perrone, who is transferring to powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas from Southridge High for his senior season, has thrown for more than 7,700 yards and 79 touchdowns through his first three seasons.
