Methodist College won the East Division but lost to Huntingdon in the title game in 2020-21 (COVID season). The Monarchs were the most recent North Carolina team to win a USA South championship, sharing it with Maryville in 2013.
North Carolina Wesleyan captured two outright titles (2007, 2009) and shared the 2010 championship with Christopher Newport.
