The threat of stormy weather on Friday night has pushed up the start of the 2026 high school football season for scores of teams to Thursday.
As of Wednesday night, more than 110 games have been moved to Thursday night, according to MaxPreps and announcements from schools on social media. That’s roughly half of the original opening week schedule.
Here are schedule changes we know about so far:
