Sponsor needed for our Pigskin Pick’em Challenge

Weekly picking contest will feature games involving North Carolina college teams

The college football season will be here before you know it, and North Carolina Football News plans to debut our first Pigskin Pick’em Challenge.

The contest will be free to enter, with no obligation, and the weekly winner will receive a special prize. All of the games will feature at least one North Carolina college team.

NC Football News is looking for a presenting sponsor for the contest. We’ll give your business plenty of exposure leading up to and throughout the season as you help us shine a spotlight on our state’s 30+ collegiate football programs. For information on being the presenting sponsor for the Pigskin Pick’em Challenge, send an email to eric@ncfootballnews.com.

Here’s how readers will play our contest:

  • We’ll start promoting the contest this summer and release the first official entry form.
  • Fill out your Nickname and Email Address on the online entry form (a preview of week one games can be found below – games subject to change).
  • Click on the team you think will win each of the games.
  • Predict the TOTAL NUMBER OF POINTS you think will be scored in the final game on the list.
  • Submit your entry by clicking on the “Lock In My Picks!” button.
  • Visit our Web site for scores and updates on the games during the weekend.
  • We’ll post the winner by Monday at noon each week.

Remember, the Pigskin Pick’em Challenge is FREE to enter. All we ask is a courtesy follow for us and our presenting sponsor on Twitter/X and Facebook – and that you join us in following all of the great college football action being played around the Old North State.

Here is a sample entry form.

One entry per email address please. Click on the team you think will win each game. Don’t forget to hit “Lock In My Picks” below.
