A second Ardrey Kell High School football standout has used July to announce his college destination.
Rising senior offensive lineman Brandon Stoner revealed on social media July 9 that he has committed to Georgia Southern. Stoner (6-4, 310) is a two-time all-conference pick and serves as a team captain.
Stoner took an official visit to Georgia Southern in June. The Eagles play in the FBS Sun Belt Conference with opponents like Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina.

He reported offers from Charlotte, Campbell, Gardner-Webb, Elon, North Carolina A&T, Fayetteville State and UNC Pembroke, in addition to out-of-state programs like Marshall, Temple, East Tennessee State and Maine.
Stoner’s Ardrey Kell teammate, wide receiver, Ben Kirsch committed to Elon earlier this month.
Ardrey Kell posted an 8-4 record last season. The Knights open the 2024 campaign on Aug. 23 against Providence.
