The CIAA has announced the players and coaches who will represent each program at the league’s Football Media Day event on July 15 in Durham.
The event serves as the official kickoff to the CIAA football season and will include a preseason predicted order of finish, all-conference selections and interviews with coaches and players from all 11 football-playing schools.
The D2 conference features six North Carolina teams, including reigning champion Johnson C. Smith. This will be the first CIAA media day as head coach for Winston-Salem State’s Tory Woodbury, a former Rams player who took over the reins of the program in the off-season.
Here is the tentative lineup for each CIAA school:
