When Joshua Iseah arrived at North Carolina A&T last season, this was how the Aggies’ official football Web site described him:

“Iseah is a super athletic athlete with the ability to cause havoc all over the field … Should make his presence felt early on in his career.”

Iseah from Charlotte certainly lived up to his billing. North Carolina Football News turns its player spotlight today on the rising sophomore defensive end/outside linebacker, who earned freshman all-America status from FCS Football Central in his collegiate debut.

Iseah made his presence known in A&T’s opener, recording eight tackles at UAB. He played in all 11 games in 2023 and started seven times.

“Josh is physically gifted, loves to compete, and, most importantly, is a great student,” A&T coach Vincent Brown said at the end of last season. “He’s the kind of young man we are building our program’s foundation around.”
