From a national perspective, this is one of the biggest college football Saturdays of the year, featuring seven ranked-on-ranked matchups.
North Carolina teams won’t be involved in any of those games, but we do have plenty of high-stakes action and intriguing matchups on tap across the FBS, FCS, D2, D3 and junior college levels.
Duke looks to continue its recent mastery over NC State, while App State aims to improve to 13-0 all-time against Georgia State.
No. 16 Campbell hosts Stony Brook needing a win to hold on to CAA championship and FCS playoff designs. North Carolina Central has a chance to improve to 3-0 in the MEAC standings with a win against Michael Vick’s Norfolk State team.
The race for spots in the CIAA’s championship weekend hinges on games today between No. 24 Johnson C. Smith/Livingstone (the nation’s oldest HBCU rivalry) and Fayetteville State/Winston-Salem State.
In all, today’s Week 10 slate will bring 26 games involving North Carolina college football teams. Fifteen teams from the Old North State will play at home. There are five North Carolina vs. North Carolina matchups, including two each in the D2 and D3 ranks.
Here is the full schedule for Saturday, Nov. 7, including kickoff times and how to watch, along with what’s at stake.
