A pair of D2 football conference championship trophies will be handed out today (Nov. 15), and two North Carolina teams are in the running for hardware. Johnson C. Smith will play for the CIAA title in Durham, while UNC Pembroke will travel to North Greenville to compete for the Conference Carolinas crown.
Elsewhere, three in-state rivalry matchups will complete the 2025 D2 football regular season. Wingate will host Mars Hill, aiming to lock up a playoff berth. Lenoir-Rhyne will host Catawba, while Barton will entertain Chowan in a rematch of an October clash.
