All but one of North Carolina’s D2 football teams will be in action today as the 2025 season reaches yet another crucial round of conference matchups.
UNC Pembroke celebrates homecoming and attempts to stay perfect in Conference Carolinas play. Catawba puts a 5-1 overall record on the line at Wingate, with both squads – as well as Mars Hill and Lenoir-Rhyne – looking to stay in contention in the crowded South Atlantic.
Meanwhile, the CIAA has reached the juicy part of the schedule where North Carolina rival schools take aim at each other. This week brings Winston-Salem State at Shaw and Livingstone at Fayetteville State. Johnson C. Smith is the only idle D2 squad this week.
